Competitive, Fun & Social
The activities presented on these pages are examples of ways for you to socialize with other dogs and their owners as well as to learn and build a closer relationship, with your dog. But, they can also be TONS of FUN.

These are not just for purebreds or 'show dogs', either. There are many organizations that hold activities and events offered to spayed or neutered purebreds and mixed breed dogs. These activities include, but are not limited to, competitive obedience; agility; flyball; frisbee; camping; hiking and more. For non-dog owners and, especially, those considering dog ownership, attending these activities as well as functional performance events is not only entertaining, but will provide an opportunity to learn more about dogs, breeds, and to meet and network with other owners and enthusiasts who have developed very special relationships with their dogs.
