Upon adoption they spay/neuter if an adult. If a puppy they give a certificate for the spay/neuter. (No vets in the area do early spay/neuter). They do follow ups on all animals adpoted from the shelter to be sure they have been to the vet and had the rest of the shots and been spayed/neutered.
