Extensive additional testing information is provided and listed, as available, in the short pedigrees. TankWhile testing, alone, cannot, most often, guarantee that a genetically transmitted disease will not be passed on, responsible breeders utilize all the tools and data available, to make educated, breeding decisions. The more researchers and breeders are able to study and learn about the tranmission of these diseases, the better their chances of reducing and, ultimately, eliminating them from their dogs and progeny. For more information on finding a reputable breeder, please read the "Breeder Selection" section of "An Introduction to Breed/Mix & Source Selection". And, before even considering one of these dogs, please read Is the English Mastiff the right breed for you? prepared by the MCOA rescue office.
